Boot: the Düsseldorf boat show is postponed to April 2021

The organizers of the Boot 2021 boat show, the largest European indoor yachting show, have finally announced the postponement of the 2021 edition: the event will take place from April 17 to 25, 2021.

Moved from the end of January as traditionally, to spring, the organization of the Boot, through the voice of its leader, Wolfram Diener, explains this choice: “This is due to the current level of infection, current restrictions on travel, and current legal measures that currently do not allow trade shows to be held. The claims of many experts have led us to believe that it is highly likely that the situation will calm down in European countries by spring 2021“

Thus, and anticipating this announcement of the postponement of Boot 2021, the organization thus gives exhibitors the opportunity to organize themselves to prepare for the Düsseldorf exhibition and the transport and ferrying boats for these new dates. The arrival of new exhibitors is still possible to this day.

The International Multihull Show at La Grande-Motte in suspense

The announcement of this postponement shakes up the organization of the entire nautical sector and in particular that of catamarans and multihulls. The Grande-Motte International Multihull Show, scheduled from April 7 to 11, 2021, could suffer from this combination of dates and see the shipyards and exhibitors having to make tough choices with regard to logistical and time constraints.
